| Grand Champs at River Ridge on Oct. 13. Great Job Band! |
The Carrollton High School Trojan Band, one of the oldest band programs in the state, was founded in 1948 by Mr. John Dilliard. Under the leadership of only a handful of directors since, the band's success has been legendary and continues to thrive today under the leadership of Director Michael Cater. In 2011, the band completed its marching season by earning all Superior ratings for the 39th consecutive year, a feat matched by no other high school band program in Georgia. While the band has had the honor to perform at many state, national and even international events over its 61-year history, its favorite venue is still Grisham Stadium, performing for the home crowd on a Friday night!
