The Instructional Excellence Grant program began in 1994 with five teachers sharing $2,000 in funding. In 2001, the Employee Giving Program was started, almost doubling the foundation’s $6,000 annual commitment at the time. Over the past 17 years, $159,832 in grants has been awarded through the program, which provides teachers a financial outlet to support instructional projects or programs that are not funded through traditional sources.
