The Carrollton Academic Booster Club is a group of parents and community members who partner with Carrollton City Schools to encourage and recognize academic achievement at Carrollton Middle School, Carrollton Junior High School and Carrollton High School. ABC is committed to support the school system's vision to "nurture and empower individuals to become life-long learners who take personal responsibility for improving our world." Since 1995, ABC has given tens of thousands of dollars in rewards and scholarships to students in the Carrollton City School System.

ABC programs and sponsorships include:

Carrollton Middle School

• Honor Roll rewards every 9 weeks
• Science Nation Annual Science Fair
• End-of-the-year Academic Achievement Trophies for students with all A’s

Carrollton Junior High

• Honor Roll rewards every 9 weeks
• Annual Academic Fair
• Support for Honors Night and various other programs that boost academic achievement

Carrollton High School

• Honor Roll rewards after first semester
• Provision of Graduation Honor Cords
• Mock SAT/ACT Program
• Annual scholarships for outstanding graduating students


The Academic Booster Club is an arm of the Carrollton City Schools Education Foundation, and relies almost exclusively on parent donations and memberships for operating expenses. Please join ABC's mission to promote and reward academic excellence among the students of Carrollton City Schools. Your membership needs to be renewed each year in order to provide the funds necessary to accomplish the yearly mission and expand the services that the organization can offer students.
