The Carrollton City Schools Education Foundation is updating an alumni directory of Carrollton High School graduates, coordinated by Chesapeake, Va., publisher Harris Connect.

    Graduates of CHS have by now received in the mail a postcard requesting they call a toll-free number to update their information in the directory. This is an important step to ensure the directory will be as accurate as possible.

    The last directory was published 10 years ago and Melanie Williams McLendon, chair of the foundation, said the board decided it was time to do a new one. An exciting component about the update is a Carrollton High School alumni Web site will be included, taking advantage of the convenience of this versatile communications tool.
