Carrollton City Schools plans to offer H1N1 flu vaccines to students at school once the vaccines become available in quantities large enough to accommodate an entire school. The first vaccination schedule includes Carrollton Elementary School on Tuesday, Dec. 15, and Carrollton Middle School on Thursday, Dec. 17. Carrollton Junior High, Carrollton High School and New Horizons will be scheduled at a later date. There will be no charge to students who participate in this program. Consent forms are required for each student who receives a vaccination. A letter from Supt. Thomas A. Wilson, the consent form and supporting documents were sent home with students Wednesday. THE DEADLINE TO TURN IN THE CONSENT FORMS IS THIS FRIDAY, DEC. 4, in order to allow ample time for processing.
