CMS – FUEL UP TO PLAY 60 PROMOTION
On Feb. 3, Carrollton City Schools' School Food and Nutrition provided milk mustache photo opportunities during lunch shifts at Carrollton Middle School to encourage healthy eating and daily physical activity through Fuel Up to Play 60 and the "Walk to Troy" Original Home of the Trojans promotions.
Students in each class had been encouraged to compile their daily activities as a "team" in an attempt to reach the 5,704 miles to Troy. The classes then turned in logs to the CMS cafeteria at the end of each month to track each class' total mileage.
The fourth and fifth grade classes that have logged the most mileage were awarded FUTP60 cinch bags or footballs for their efforts.
