As its charter dictates, the Carrollton City School System serves all school-age children, prekindergarten through 12th grade, who reside in the city limits of Carrollton. A centralized 130-acre campus houses four schools collectively serving about 5,000 students: Carrollton High School (9-12), Carrollton Junior High (7-8), Carrollton Middle School (4-6) and Carrollton Elementary (PreK-3). Contact the appropriate school for further information about registering your child.
The district also serves others who may enroll as non-resident, tuition-paying students, providing a true choice in local educational options. This population represents about a third of the total enrollment. Tuition is as follows: $200 for one child, $350 for two children, and $450 for three or more children. Tuition must be paid at least one week before the beginning of the semester. Online payments also are accepted. For more information, call 770-830-0870 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
A non-resident application process is required prior to enrolling.
Since bus transportation is not provided outside the city limits, non-resident families are allowed to drop off and pick up their children at the closest current bus stop available within the city limits. Please contact the Transportation Department at 770-834-2581 for more information.
