For the second consecutive year, Carrollton High School Thespian Society Troupe 3682 has been named an honor troupe at the Gold Level, the highest Georgia Thespian Honor Society recognition obtainable.

Tommy Cox, CHS Performing Arts director, said Troupe 3682 earned the honor based on the troupe's productions, community outreach and troupe member involvement.

"Our kids worked very hard putting together the application," said Cox. “Receiving the highest recognition from the state chapter reaffirms our commitment to excellence in the arts and the hard work of our students."

Tyler Grubbs, CHS Thespian Society Troupe 3682 officer, said the recognition is special.

“Being able to be part of this troupe means a lot,” he said. “The Gold Level recognition really shows how hard we have worked and it’s a great feeling.”
