Class of 2025 graduate receiving his diploma.

CARROLLTON, GA — The Carrollton City Schools Education Foundation is proud to launch the Student Success Fund, in collaboration with Partners Advancing Student Success (PASS), created to support students who have faced significant challenges yet shown resilience, determination, and a commitment to a brighter future.

Recipients of the scholarship will be identified by PASS—Partners Advancing Student Success, the school system’s partner that provides mentoring, resources, and support throughout high school to help students stay on track for graduation.

While PASS helps to guide these students through their high school years, the Student Success Fund will extend that support after graduation, offering a scholarship that helps them continue their education or career training. Regardless of the student’s post-secondary path, the scholarship is designed to help them build a successful future, focused on increasing employability and supporting their development.

PASS Executive Director Meredith Browning emphasizes that by recognizing success after high school looks different for every student, this fund can help support graduates in their next steps.

“This scholarship displays the continued partnership with Carrollton City Schools and our commitment to providing support even after high school that helps turn momentum into opportunity,” said Browning. “To be able to offer this opportunity to students who may not otherwise be eligible to receive something like this is incredibly exciting.  We are immensely grateful for this community’s continued support who make opportunities like this possible.”

The CCS Education Foundation Student Success Fund will award its first scholarship on April 21 at the annual scholarship breakfast.

“PASS does incredible work getting our students to the finish line to graduate,” said Carrollton City Schools Education Foundation Executive Director Brooke Mobley. “I’m thrilled to be able to extend this support through the foundation to help them get started at the next level.”
