There is an old proverb that states "it takes a village to raise a child." We understand the important role our community plays in helping all students grow to be healthy and successful individuals. Below we have provided information about local community resources that specifically share our mission for student success.
In 2012, Communities in Schools of Carroll County (former affiliation) was formed and began making a difference in the lives of at risk students in Carroll County. CIS began in the Villa Rica High School and the Carrollton Performance Learning Center, with the first two "on campus" Advocates The Villa Rica graduation rate at the time was 76%. As of 2019, the graduation rate has increased to 92% overall. More importantly, 100% of the PASS Students working with our Advocate graduated with their classmates.
