Enrollment Information
Enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year will open on January 20, 2026, for grades K-12. The pre-K lottery will be March 2-6, 2026. If your child is currently enrolled at Carrollton, they do not have to re-enroll for the next grade.
Enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year is NOW OPEN.
Please note the following age requirements for pre-K and kindergarten:
- Pre-k: Children must be 4 years old on or before September 1 of the school year.
- Kindergarten: Children must be 5 years old on or before September 1 of the school year.

ENROLLMENT INSTRUCTIONS:
STEP 1: Gather the required documentation below.
To complete the online application, you will need the following:
- Household information -- address and phone numbers.
- Parent information -- work and cell phone numbers, email addresses.
- Student information -- demographic and health/medication information.
- Emergency contact -- phone numbers.
- Documentation to Upload:
- Proof of Residency (current bill- gas/water/electric, or current lease agreement).
- Child's Birth Certificate
- Child's Social Security Card
- Parent/Guardian Photo ID
- Current GA Immunization Form 3231
- Eye, Ear, Dental, Nutrition Form 3300
- Guardianship Papers (if applicable)
- Previous School Records (if applicable and available)

Not a Carrollton Resident?

** Non-resident families should not pay non-resident tuition until an enrollment decision has been made by the school to which the student is applying.
Non-Resident Tuition Update (10/8/25):
Families who live outside the Carrollton City Schools attendance zone are invited to apply for enrollment through our non-resident program. Beginning with the 2026-2027 school year, the annual non-resident tuition will be $500 per family for one child, $750 per family for two children, and $1,000 per family for three or more children. This will be our first tuition adjustment in more than a decade and helps us continue providing the exceptional educational experiences that define Carrollton’s “Gold Standard.”
