Fly away to Neverland with Peter and the Darling children. Wendy Darling loves to tell stories to her brothers, Michael and John. When her father announces she must move out of the nursery, Peter Pan comes to visit and whisks the children away to Neverland. Their journey introduces them to the Lost Boys, Indians and the infamous pirate, Captain Hook. This 2-week musical theater camp allows campers the opportunity to create, play, and perform.

Performance for Session I will be on Saturday, June 15, at 6pm, with a dress rehearsal at 10am on the same day. Performance for Session II will be on Saturday, June 22, at 6pm, with a dress rehearsal at 10am on the same day.

The Legend of Pocahontas tells the story of the Algonquin princess who played a key role in the early settlement of the New World. Campers will audition for roles and help develop the show for performance before a special invited audience. HELLO, SHAKESPEARE!
July 8 – 12 // 9am – 3pm

This fast-paced comedy introduces student actors and their audiences to the wonderful world of Shakespeare. A narrator and her irreverent helper comically provide a brief biography of the playwright, who appears in protest to make sure they get the details right. Drawing from Shakespeare’s long list of histories, comedies and tragedies, participants will humorously reenact brief moments from Shakespeare’s plays, with a grand finale that has something for everyone to enjoy. The show will be performed at the AMP in downtown Carrollton.

Performance will be on Saturday, July 13, at 6pm, with a dress rehearsal at 10am on the same day.

PUPPET CAMP
July 8 – 12

Local artist and master puppeteer, Scott Foxx, will lead an exploration of puppet sculpture, simple sewing, painting and performance. Camp will culminate in a show for invited guests. Session 1 will make a simple hand and rod, a shadow and a marionette puppet, while Session 2 will spend the week crafting a soft sculpture ‘Muppet’ style hand and rod puppet. All Supplies are included in price.

Are pastry chefs born, or are they made? Perhaps, it is a little bit of both? Desire. Commitment. Execution. Start them young, we say! Do you have a young aspiring pastry chef in your household that is serious about desserts? No, No!!! We mean serious! This is the kids only cooking camp for them! With a full instructional agenda of pastry/baking skills and confectionery techniques taught by LaToya Gamble.
